A typical celebration at Hartsville Community Fellowship is casual, but expectant. We begin with a time of worship together, announcements, a message from the ministry team, and finally a time of closing ministry. We have nursery and children’s ministry for 3-5 & 6-12 year olds available following our praise celebration.
Worship is a primary focus for us. We approach worship as a time of giving thanks and adoring our Creator, as well as an opportunity to really connect with God on a deeper level, experience his presence, and find healing. We invite you to assume whatever posture of worship is comfortable for you, whether that be sitting, standing, lifting your hands or dancing. We do ask that you not use tambourines, shofars, or large flags or banners, because these can be a distraction to our worship team.
We believe that God's presence changes people. Whether you need physical healing, emotional healing, financial provision, encouragement, hope or a closer relationship with your Heavenly Father, God can meet you where you are and bring change. We make a point of taking time each Sunday to pray for you and release God's power and presence in your life.
Weekly messages are also available for download on our website (hartsvillecommunity.org) under the Sound Tracks menu.
At the end of the message, there is often an opportunity to respond to what God is saying to you. This sometimes takes the form of corporate ministry, personal ministry, or members of the congregation ministering to one another.
When the celebration is over, there are teams available at the front of the sanctuary for personal ministry. Whether you have a specific need or simply would like some encouragement, feel free to go up front and put your name on the list. These teams are specially trained and commissioned by HCF to pray for you and speak words of encouragement they believe God is saying for you specifically.
